Technically speaking, muscles are a bundle or thread of fibrous tissues. They provide strength to our bodies, allow us to apply force, and propel us onward and upward; into... whatever comes next. Muscle changes can affect our outward appearance, our posture, our walk, our movement and, in turn, our confidence.
We begin to lose muscle density and mass after the age of about 30. This is a natural process and can be addressed with exercise and lifestyle changes – and now there are also treatments to help us rebuild and reinforce muscle strength.
