At Project Skin MD, we talk a lot about helping our patients glow, and recently, we’ve been thinking about what that really means to us. Of course, we’re passionate about skin health and natural beauty; we’re proud to offer state-of-the art technologies and skincare products that work together to—quite literally—make you glow. But in truth, it’s about more than that. We care deeply for the long-term wellness of our people, and we’ve worked hard to assemble a team that can provide 360 degrees of service and accessibility – from skin health prevention, to corrective interventions, and on to maintenance strategies at any and all budgets.
If you’re a regular here at Project Skin MD (or even if you’re not!), you know that our staff cares deeply for our patients, for our community, and for each other; we’re all family here. Whether you’ve come for a facial, a laser treatment, or a plastic surgery consultation, we hope you leave feeling inspired and empowered; ready to take on the world. We want to hear about your lifestyle, your passions, your frustrations, and what sets your soul on fire. This is what matters to us; you matter to us. And that is what beyond the glow is really about: you.
In honour of living truer and going deeper, Project Skin MD would like to invite you to join us in the conversation about living beyond the glow. We are dedicated to making the business of beauty one which uplifts and empowers; one that reaches real people and wraps hearts (and skins) in safe packaging; and one that breeds confidence. It’s with this in mind that we’ve decided to partner with an organization in our community that supports these same ideals: BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre.
Project Skin MD + BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre: A GLOWrious partnership.
BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre is one of Canada’s largest maternity hospitals and the only dedicated hospital and health centre for women in British Columbia. The hospital provides a range of specialized health services, serves as a resource for women, families, and health care providers across the province and beyond, and offers primary care and population health across 44 different clinics with approximately 60,000 visits per year. In addition, BC Women’s provides leadership in the promotion of a sex and gender and equity lens in clinical care and research to ensure that policy and program development is responsive to the needs of all populations of women and their families, particularly those who are marginalized and most at-risk. Learn more about the hospital here.
In honour of going beyond the glow, Project Skin MD has joined forces with BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre to empower women through health advocacy.
> In support of Her Health Matters, a percentage of all skincare sales until March 9th, 2018 will be donated to BC Women’s Hospital & Health Centre. SkinCeuticals has generously agreed to match our donation.
