What is it?
Some call them the windows to our souls: our eyes communicate great emotion, some of which can be lost behind sagging or drooping upper eyelids that make us look old and even tired. Whether you’ve noticed a change in the skin surrounding your eyes as a result of aging or an inherited trait or condition, an upper blepharoplasty, also known as upper eyelid surgery, can masterfully improve this delicate area. By removing excess skin, fat, or even muscle, we can re-open those windows and reveal a brighter, more alert and rested appearance. Problem solved!

How it Works
Performed by Dr. Photis Loizides, Plastic Surgeon, the procedure is quick, easy, and performed in less than 3 hours! After administering a local anesthetic, an incision is created, through which excess skin, muscle, and fat are removed to correct loose, hanging upper eyelid skin. Dr. Loizides is careful to follow the natural contour of the upper eyelid, meaning the incision will be hidden within the natural fold of the upper eyelid, and well camouflaged when healed. The result is a more youthful, alert and refreshed appearance.
