Advanced Fluorescence Technology (AFT) offers a solution to treat active acne lesions. This non-invasive treatment offers an acne solution without the need for topical or systemic medication, minimal discomfort and a low risk of side effects.

AFT uses breakthrough pulsed light-based technology to filter UV light to optimal levels to target acne-producing bacteria (Propionibactirum acnes). Intense pulsing blue light from the AFT system rapidly destroys P. acnes bacteria without harming the surrounding skin tissue.
During a personalized assessment your treatment provider will work with you to create a treatment plan to meet your unique skin goals.
We will then take baseline photos for your patient file. These will be used to show you your results and serve as a reference over time.
We will review our consent forms with you, making sure to answer any questions before proceeding with treatment.
We will then begin your treatment, exposing the treatment area to AFT light for the recommended duration according to your treatment plan.

We recommend a series of 8 treatments, schedule twice a week.
