EMSculpt® is not suitable for patients who:

• Are pregnant or breastfeeding;
• Have a cardiac pacemaker or other electronic implanted device;
• Have metal rods, pins, plates, or orthopedic implants;
• Have a metal IUD;
• Have a pulmonary insufficiency, cardiac disorder, epilepsy or active malignancy;
• Have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners;
• Have a history of hernia repair with mesh;
• Have had a recent surgical procedure in the area they wish to treat;
• Or have an injury or other damage to the muscle or soft tissue in the area they wish to treat.

Always disclose all medical conditions, recent procedures, and medications to your treatment provider during your consultation to ensure that EMSculpt® is safe and the right procedure for you.

Yes, EMSculpt® can be combined with many of our other cosmetic procedures to enhance results. During your consultation, your treatment provider will assess your goals and create a personalized treatment plan to address them best.

You must be over the age of 18 to receive EMSculpt® treatment.

Results of EMSculpt® treatment vary depending on the individual. While the fat loss is permanent, muscle toning results typically last around six months. However, with an appropriate workout plan, your results can last longer, or they may fade more quickly, depending on your metabolism and lifestyle.

We recommend having an appropriate exercise plan in place to help maintain your best results.

We recommend maintaining a balanced diet, staying hydrated, regularly engaging in physical activity and exercise, and prioritizing sleep and recovery. Otherwise, you may need to repeat EMSculpt® treatments more often than every six months.

There is no downtime after receiving EMSculpt®, allowing you to easily and quickly return to your daily routine. You may have some soreness after your procedure, however, so you may want to plan for some rest and relaxation after your first session before you know how it will affect your body.

You may experience redness, swelling, or bruising in the treatment area, but this should go away within a few days of yoru treatment. If pain persists, you should speak to your primary care physician about pain relief options.
