What we do
In as few as 6 to 8 treatments, medical-grade laser hair removal can permanently reduce unwanted hair from virtually any area of the body. Before treatment, patients are encouraged to shave only – no tweezing, waxing, etc., which would remove hair follicles. Laser hair removal works by emitting a wavelength of laser energy, specific to the colour and depth of the hair. The hair within the follicle absorbs the laser energy. Over several days, disabled follicles are ejected from the body. Because the laser selectively treats hair colour, very light hair (blond, red, grey, etc.) are not likely to respond to laser hair removal. Additionally, for safety, patients should avoid tanning throughout their course of laser hair removal treatments.
