Thermage® CPT uses radio-frequency technology to heat the deepest layers of your skin, stimulating collagen production. During treatment, the surface of your skin is protected with cold bursts of air to offset the heating feeling.
This advanced system differs from other treatments due to the depth of its efficacy. No other procedure heats the skin as deeply as Thermage® CPT, effectively tightening collagen and catalyzing new collagen formation. This treatment can also temporarily reduce the appearance of cellulite.

Most patients report minimal to no discomfort during the Thermage® CPT procedure. For additional comfort, patients may opt for analgesics before their treatment to alleviate any potential discomfort.
Facial Thermage® CPT treatments are, on average, 90 minutes in length. For other areas of the body, the total treatment time will depend on the location, size, and overall condition of the skin. During your initial consultation, we may be able to give you a general timeframe for your following appointment.
There is no downtime following a Thermage® CPT appointment. Once your treatment is complete, there are also no rigorous aftercare needs besides following your regular skincare regime. This is in stark contrast to surgical procedures, which may produce similar results, albeit with several months of healing required. Once your appointment at our Ottawa clinic is completed, you can return to your daily activities as normal.
