Vascular concerns like blushing, flushing, vessels and veins on the face or legs can be obvious and unwelcome. The Excel® V+ laser leads the charge in treating these skin concerns and conditions. The latest advancement on the Excel V™ technology, the medical-grade Excel® V+ laser targets red, purple and blue facial veins to treat all of your vascular concerns. In as few as 1 to 3 treatments, unwanted and unsightly vessels and veins are reduced, and symptoms like flushing and blushing are managed.
*The treatment outcome will vary for each individual. The results shown above are for illustrative purposes only.
Utilizing specific, medical-grade wavelengths, the Excel® V+ laser (532nm and Nd:YAG) targets and coagulates unwanted vessels. Depending on the treatment area, vessels may darken before clearing over the following 8 to 12 weeks. Stubborn areas, like the nose or legs, may require 2 to 3 treatments, while other concerns, like facial flushing and angiomas, may clear in a single treatment. The Excel® V+ laser also helps manage the symptoms of rosacea including chronic flushing of the cheeks, nose and chin.
The Excel® V+ laser can be used to treat vessels on the face, including cheeks, nose and chin, as well as the legs.

Vascular treatments average about 30 minutes, depending on the size, area and condition of the area to be treated.
Patients should avoid blood thinning medications, unless medically required, for 5-7 days prior to treatment. Patients should limit sun exposure as well as self-tanners for 3 weeks prior to treatment.
Most activities can be resumed immediately following treatment, however, exercise or any activity involving heat should be avoided for 48h following treatment. For example, saunas, hot tub, hot yoga or any sun exposure are not recommended in the first two days after treatment.
Most skincare can be resumed following treatment, however, any strong exfoliant such as Vitamin A, Retinol, Glycolic/Salicylic acid, benzoyl peroxide or irritants such as astringents should be avoided for 7-14 days. Patients should be diligent with mineral sun protection during this time—and always!
Many patients report few if any side effects. The most commonly experienced side effects include minor redness and local swelling of the skin. Some patients may experience bruising and in rare instances, blistering may occur.
The majority of treated vessels will improve significantly within 2 to 6 weeks following your treatment, with final results emerging 8 to 12 weeks after your treatment.
Most patients experience a stinging sensation as the pulses of energy are delivered through the handpiece. Although no local anesthesia or pain medication is typically required, some patients opt to use a topical anesthetic prior to treatment.
