What are Dermal Fillers?
Hyaluronic Acid (HA) is a naturally occurring substance in the body, that attracts and retains water to keep our skin hydrated and full. Natural HA depletes as we age, resulting in facial volume loss. Dermal fillers like JUVÉDERM® restore HA into targeted areas to gently lift and plump the skin.
What should I expect from my treatment?
Dermal fillers can be used in the temples, between the brows, in the under-eye (sulcus) hollows, in the cheeks, around the mouth, in the lips and more. At PS, an injectable treatment starts with a consultation, where one of our Physician or Nurse Injectors will work with you to design a treatment plan to best address your unique concerns and desires. You will begin to see results almost instantly, that will settle and improve over the 2 weeks following your treatment. Mild tenderness, swelling and bruising are common treatment side effects. Patients can immediately return to their regular activities.

How do I choose an Injector?
As with any Medical Aesthetic treatment, it is important to consider the credentials, training, experience and Before & After results from your chosen treatment provider to ensure both the safety and the satisfaction with your treatment. Our PS Physician and Nurse Injectors undergo ongoing training and development to provide you with the best outcomes. It is our philosophy to enhance and restore natural beauty, supporting you on your aging journey as opposed to augmenting your appearance in a way that looks overdone.
