Acne solutions that really work.

Skin

Dear acne, you suck. You ruin special events, photos, and self-esteem. Let’s break up (cue: Taylor Swift’s We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together).

If your acne just won’t take the hint, we can help. We know that finding the right products and treatments to prevent or manage acne and blemishes can be a struggle, and we don’t want you to navigate this alone. Whether you’re suffering from the occasional blemish or persistent acne that just won’t relent, these acne treatments have one thing in common: they really work.

MAX+ LED Light Therapy ($145).

MAX+ LED’s violet wavelength triggers the production of oxygen radicals that kill acne-causing (p. acnes) bacteria responsible for causing active blemishes and acne lesions, and inhibit the growth of new bacteria. The Near Infra-Red (NIF) wavelength is often paired with the violet wavelength like a powerful sidekick to enhance benefits for cell healing. Just lie back, close your eyes, and dream of clear skin.

Depending on the severity of your condition, four to twelve treatments, once to three times per week may be recommended.

Customized Acne Peel ($175).

Offered in the PS Glow Room at both our Vancouver and Richmond locations, our customized Acne Peel employs a combination of physical and chemical exfoliation (salicylic and/or lactic acid peel) as well as manual extractions to remove dead skin cells, decongest and unclog pores. The procedure is followed by a targeted MAX+ LED light therapy treatment.

This advanced treatment should be performed bi-monthly during the acute acne phase and monthly as a maintenance.

Acne SilkPeel® ($275).

Using the power of SilkPeel® Dermalinfusion™ microdermabrasion, this treatment infuses a salicylic acid serum to unclog pores and decongest skin. Followed by a targeted MAX+ LED light therapy treatment, and manual extractions if needed, the Acne SilkPeel® will leave you feeling refreshed and ready to conquer the world.

Mild redness may be experience for 12-24 hours post procedure. For optimal results, this protocol should be performed monthly.

At-home (medical-grade) skincare.

High quality, medical-grade at-home skincare is an important piece of the acne-fighting puzzle. We love SkinCeuticals, because their products employ pharmaceutical-grade ingredients that are non-comedogenic (meaning they won’t congest your pores), and their formulations are safe and effective, which makes them perfect for acne sufferers. The Clarisonic is another skincare must-have, providing eleven times the cleansing power of manual cleansing alone, and improving the penetration of key active skincare ingredients by more than 60%.
